How can I know If my Hard Drive is Okay???

There are a lot of reasons why you want to test your hard drive for problems. One of the major reasons to perform a test would be if your hard drive is making a strange noise. This can often be a sign of a failing drive, something a test can point out. Some other reasons to test your hard drive would be if a defragmentation program directed you to do so or if normal troubleshooting steps for certain problems are of no help. Often times the last step is to diagnose a possible hard drive issue.
You should  test your hard drive using some of the hard drive testing software tools.
If you're a user of Windows XP or Windows Vista, Microsoft includes a program called Error Checking which can perform some very basic tests and can even attempt to correct errors as it finds them. Most other free hard drive testing programs are supported by the hard drive manufacturers themselves and are much more powerful. Seagate, Hitachi, and Western Digital all make very popular testing programs.

What should I do when my computer screen freezes?

Computers can freeze for a number of reasons, making trouble-shooting a sometimes difficult and painstaking process. However, if you don’t eliminate the problem, freezing will likely be repeated. As the problem arises most frequently on Windows computers. This doesn’t necessarily speak ill of Windows, but points to the fact that the majority of consumers use Windows and most malicious software is written to attack Windows operating systems.

However, it isn’t always software that causes computer freezes. Often it’s a hardware problem. This is easiest to diagnose when the computer was working fine until new hardware was added. Sometimes it’s a matter of simply installing the correct driver for the hardware, which might require surfing to the appropriate website to download a newer driver than the one that came packaged with the product. Faulty or incorrect drivers can cause computer freezes by trying to access computer resources that are already in use by the operating system.

Bad random access memory (RAM) modules can also cause freezes, though RAM usually doesn’t “go bad” once installed unless damaged by overheating. A damaged or badly fragmented hard drive can cause problems, including computer freezes, so hard drives should be regularly defragmented.

1.) When your computer freezes, give it a few seconds to see if   it unfreezes itself. Chances are that at least 90% of the time, that will do the trick. If not, it may still be a temporary problem, only it is a little more stubborn!

2.) Second, Press the ‘Alt’, ‘Ctrl’ and ‘Del’ buttons all at the same time, and you should bring up the Windows Task Manager frame. See if any program is shown in the ‘Applications’ window as not being responsive.

3.) If anything shows, highlight it and click the ‘End Task’ toggle.Give it a few seconds, and the non-responsive programs or application should shut down.

4.) Apply correct software programs to the problem and run a full virus scan. Run your anti-virus scan in full just in case, but the chances are good that it is not a virus infection.
If not, then you have problems somewhere within the Windows registry.

5.) Run a free scan using the excellent SpeedyPC software, which should locate and isolate all of the potential problems within the registry of your PC.

6.) Then, simply download the software, and use it to get rid of whatever bugs, defects and errors there are in your Window system, some of which are more than likely behind the  frozen screen problems.

How To Make A Computer Run Faster ???

6 ways to speed up your PC:

1. Remove spyware, and help protect your computer from viruses

Spyware collects personal information without letting you know and without asking for permission. From the websites you visit to user names and passwords, spyware can put you and your confidential information at risk. In addition to privacy concerns, spyware can hamper your computer's performance. To combat spyware, you might want to consider using the PC safety scan from Windows Live One Care. This scan is a free service that helps check for and remove viruses.
2. Free up disk space

The Disk Cleanup tool helps you to free up space on your hard disk to improve the performance of your computer. The tool identifies files that you can safely delete and then enables you to choose whether you want to delete some or all of the identified files.
3. Speed up access to data

Disk fragmentation slows the overall performance of your system. When files are fragmented, the computer must search the hard disk as a file is opened (to piece it back together). The response time can be significantly longer.
Disk Defragmenter  is a Windows utility that consolidates fragmented files and folders on your computer's hard disk so that each occupies a single space on the disk. With your files stored neatly end to end, without fragmentation, reading and writing to the disk speeds up.
4. Detect and repair disk errors

In addition to running Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter to optimize the performance of your computer, you can check the integrity of the files stored on your hard disk by running the Error Checking utility.
As you use your hard drive, it can develop bad sectors. Bad sectors slow down hard disk performance and sometimes make data writing (such as file saving) difficult or even impossible. The Error Checking utility scans the hard drive for bad sectors and scans for file system errors to see whether certain files or folders are misplaced.
5. Learn about ReadyBoost
If you're using Windows 7 or Windows Vista, you can use ReadyBoost to speed up your system. A new concept in adding memory to a system, it allows you to use non-volatile flash memory—like a USB flash drive or a memory card—to improve performance without having to add additional memory.
6.  Upgrade  to  Windows 7

If you try all the previous remedies and your computer still isn't as fast as you would like it to be, you may want to consider updating to Windows 7. If the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor determines that your computer can't run Windows 7 and you still have the need for speed, it might be time for a new computer. There are some great deals on new computers right now.

Q: What's the best ISP in the Philippines for you? Give at least 3 reasons.

For me the best ISP in the Philippines is Globe Telecom. Most of my classmates use Globe Telecom because it has  high internet connection. It has big discounts in loads and you can avail in a lowest prize. It has fastest signal loader not just by means of cellular phones but also in website and other internet functions.

Reasons why I choose Globe Telecom:

1.) Globe has rolled out Globe broadband powered by WiMAX (Worldwide interoperability for Microwave Access). Globe's network is considered the first and biggest 2.5 GHz WiMAX (802.16e) broadband network in South East Asia. It is first in the Philippines to commercially launch a consumer WiMAX offering.

2.) Globe has around four thousand subscribers on its WiMAX network, after only a few weeks. The service is initially available in selected areas in South Luzon, Metro Manila, Visayas and Mindanao. Globe continues to roll-out WiMAX sites, as a complement to its existing DSL and 3G Internet facilities, to ensure the internet gets to every Filipino who needs it.

3.)  Globe is providing WiMAX to selected local community government offices in Cavite, Batangas and Cagayan De Oro City. Globe is also providing Internet access via WiMAX to selected schools and city hospitals in Mindanao as part of its thrust of community service to the marginalized areas.

MEXICO

If I would be given a chance to choose were I brought up by my parents, I would  choose Mexico.I would choose mexico because it is very beautiful country and the people their are very kind. The country had also beautiful spots to be enjoy with specially by tourist.

If  I could stay there and live, there would be possibilities that I would be still the same of what I am as a Filipino because their customs and traditions are slightly the same of what we have. Most of them are catholics and they are very religious, they also celebrate their independence day just like us. That's why our country accept  and love their films because the story is very nice and we could get lessons from it. Its the same in the films of our country.

Beautiful spots of mexico:
Palenque

Palenque is an archaeological site that was located on the western edge of the Maya empire in the present-day state of Chiapas, Mexico. Palenque  is much smaller than some of it Mayan neighbor cities, but it contains some of the finest architecture and sculptures the Maya ever produced. Most structures in Palenque date from about 600 AD to 800 AD including the Temple of Inscriptions, the only Mesoamerican pyramid built as a funerary monument.

Copper Canyon

The Copper Canyon  is in fact a network of canyons which together are several times larger than the Grand Canyon. The most popular way to explore the Copper Canyon is on the “Chihuahua al Pacifico” Railway. The track passes over 37 bridges and through 86 tunnels, rising as high as 2,400 meter (7,900 feet) above sea level featuring spectacular views of the canyons below.

                                                                        Chichen Itza

Chichen Itza is the largest of the Maya cities in the Yucatan Peninsula and one of Mexico’s most visited tourist destinations. The most famous landmark of Chichen Itza is the temple-pyramid of El Castillo. The design of the temple has special astronomical significance. Each face of the pyramid has a stairway with 91 steps, which together with the shared step at the top, add up to 365, the number of days in a year. Other highlights of Chichen Itza include the Great Ballcourt and El Caracol, a circular temple which served as an astronomy.

Acapulco

Acapulco is the original Mexican resort town which came into prominence by the 1950s as a getaway for Hollywood stars and millionaires. Still, Acapulco remains a popular tourist destination especially among Mexicans and as a spring break destination among US college students. No visit to Acapulco is complete without watching the cliff divers perform their impressive jumps into ocean. They have been doing it since the 1930s, although today the divers are professionals

Los Cabos

Los Cabos is a lively 20 mile beach area at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. The white sandy beaches backed by sophisticated resorts, restaurants, bars and other attractions run from spring break destination Cabo San Lucas down to the quieter San José del Cabo. Los Cabos is a great destination for water sport aficionados with some of the best all-around sport fishing in the world. In the winter, whales can be observed in the Pacific ocean.

Tulum

Tulum is situated on the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula. It once served as the major port of the Mayan city of Coba. Tulum was built around 1200 AD when the Mayan civilization was already in decline and therefore lacks the elegance of some other famous sites. The tropical beach backdrop however makes this a stunning top attraction which should not be missed. Accommodation can range from simple cabanas to the 4 star hacienda-style resort of Dream Tulum Resort & Spa.
